Collaboration in the planning and layout definition to ensure efficient space utilization. Development of the executive design for internal roadways, including planimetric and altimetric design, pavement structure, grading design, and storm drainage solutions. Design and planning of the access route, prioritizing safety, functionality, and compliance with current regulations.

DETAILED ENGINEERING AND DESIGN FOR CHEMICAL PLANT

This project involved the planimetric design of internal roadways to ensure efficient vehicle circulation, along with an altimetric analysis to define optimal elevations and slopes for soil movement optimization. Additionally, stormwater drainage was assessed to develop effective water evacuation systems, preventing flooding and erosion. The pavement structure was designed based on traffic loads and soil conditions, ensuring durability and long-term operational efficiency.

URBAN ROAD INFRAESTRUCTURE PROJECT

LSV Engineering was responsible for the executive road design of the new Cardinal Supermarket. This commercial development will include a supermarket and retail spaces that will significantly enhance the urban dynamics of the area.
The project scope included the geometric design of a new access lane with a raised central median, the design of vehicular and pedestrian entrances, and the redesign of sidewalks and curbs. It also involved the integration of traffic separators and road signage, as well as the layout of drainage inlets and bays for public transport and taxi services. Finally, the road design was coordinated with the existing traffic light system on the avenue.

INTERSECTION DESIGN BETWEEN US HIGHWAY 287 & ACCESS ROAD

Waterfront Club.jpg

As part of the civil engineering design team, we developed the intersection project connecting the access road to a residential development with US Highway 287. Based on the traffic impact study, the existing roadway was widened to include a dedicated left-turn lane and a right-turn lane, improving capacity and traffic safety for entering and exiting vehicles. The geometric design was carried out in accordance with the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual, while signage and pavement markings were designed following the Texas MUTCD standards. Throughout the project, continuous coordination was maintained with TxDOT to validate each stage of the design. In addition, a hydrologic and hydraulic study was performed, which included the sizing and design of culverts to ensure proper stormwater management.

FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR TRANSPORTING SPECIAL-DIMENSION CARGO

Cementos Artigas 2.jpg

The study included an analysis of the feasibility of transporting a wind turbine blade by land from Libertad City free trade zone into 'Pampa' wind farm on Route 5, Tacuarembó.

ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR ROUTE 32 & ROUTE 68

Ancap Pizzorno.png

Design and planning of road upgrades at the intersection of Route 32 and Route 68 to enhance traffic flow and safety around the service station. The project included the geometric design of entrances and exits, traffic analysis, and visibility studies to optimize circulation. Additionally, it involved the development of the final pavement design, hydraulic engineering for storm drainage, evaluation of earthworks, and definition of complementary structures. A comprehensive road signage plan was also implemented, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordination with relevant authorities for project approval.

PARKING LOT DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION
